About the brand

Dodo Bar Or was founded in 2014 by Israeli actress-turned-designer Dorit 'Dodo' Bar Or, who first gained fame for her acting career and personal style in Israel. Drawing inspiration from her Middle Eastern heritage, the brand fuses traditional design elements with a contemporary fashion-forward approach, becoming particularly renowned for its colorful keffiyeh-inspired kaftans that helped establish the label's signature aesthetic. The collections are celebrated for their feminine silhouettes, unexpected color combinations, and intricate jacquard embroideries, all imbued with a carefree bohemian spirit that embodies relaxed luxury. The brand quickly gained international recognition through stylish social media influencers and has been worn by celebrities including Selena Gomez, Naomie Harris, and Bar Rafaeli, establishing Dodo Bar Or as a distinctive voice in contemporary fashion that seamlessly translates from day to night.

What people are saying

The Cool Hour

The luxurious silk chiffon drapes beautifully, showcasing superior material quality. The attention to detail in the off-the-shoulder neckline and flowing proportions reflects solid construction, though the lack of close-up details keeps it just shy of perfection.

Forbes

The Dodo Bar Or woman always radiates with an assertive elegance. She is a trendsetter, not a follower and adapts to every situation and crowd she finds herself in, while always staying true to her personal and interesting style.

A Day In The Lalz

I absolutely adore the brand and love the long sleeved maxi dress styles they offer. The dresses are a bit pricey, and I promise I did not pay full price for this dress!
