About the brand

Aviator Nation is a premium 1970s-inspired California lifestyle brand founded by Paige Mycoskie in 2006. Starting from her Venice Beach garage, the brand has grown into a global phenomenon with 19 retail locations worldwide. Known for its authentic vintage aesthetic, Aviator Nation specializes in handmade, perfectly distressed hoodies and sweatpants that embody the laid-back California surf culture. Each garment is crafted in California using single-needle stitching and features the brand's signature rainbow stripes and hand-drawn graphics. The brand attracts celebrities and has built a passionate community around its 'rad clothes for rad people' philosophy. With a focus on quality over quantity, Aviator Nation maintains its commitment to American manufacturing while celebrating the music, surfing, and community spirit that defined 1970s culture. The brand's unique approach transforms buying a hoodie into a nostalgic lifestyle experience.

Edwin Vonholy

If you're drawn to nostalgic, retro-inspired fashion with a bold, casual flair, Aviator Nation sweatshirts deliver an authentic vibe and cozy comfort that justify the hype and price.

These hoodies are hands down the most comfortable. The inside is lined with super soft fleece. These hoodies are pricey, but I promise you that I wear them so much that the cost per wear is nearly zero.

Super soft, well made, timeless style. Sweat pants never go out of style and AV has made these cool. So soft and they just get softer with time. Expensive but worth it.

Aviator Nation's pricing is justified if you value vintage aesthetics and a statement piece. For classic, versatile luxury basics, other brands might offer better cost-per-wear.

Has anybody had quality issues lately? I've had 2 pairs of pants and a sweatshirt that I wore maybe 3-4 times end up with holes in them. Only wore in the house lounging so no reason for the holes to appear.

The sizing makes ZERO sense now. I just got another order and the pants literally had about six extra inches of fabric. The zip-up in the same size fits totally differently than my older ones. And the quality? Nowhere near what it used to be.

The seams on most of the clothes fall Apart extremely easily and they dont care. For the price, I dont expect this to happen. They do not back their products.

The following day that sent me an email informing me that they cannot send me a label because I'm an international customer and for me to send the pants back at my own cost. Sending from Australia to Los Angeles is very costly. Absolutely ridiculous return policy for a defective item.

I'm torn on these!! I love the color but they're a different fabric so they wrinkle incredibly easily. They're super lightweight so great for the spring and summer but not really warm enough for the winter. I think they're a great warmer weather sweatpant but for the price, I want to be able to wear them all year round!

Seems like Aviator Nation isn't always consistent with their sizing these days.

Sweatsuit ended up bleeding all over my other clothes in the wash and now everything is lightly dyed pink. Something this expensive should absolutely not be bleeding and shrinking in the wash.

I purchased 2 sweatshirts for my husband and I when they were on sale. They arrived and were HUGE. So, I tried to start an exchange but they were sold out of every size. ... They told me that because I bought the items on sale, I was not eligible for an in store credit.
